It's guest photographer day! Thanks to Dottie for sharing this with us. As much as I wish I could say I was here for this event, I wasn't. But Dottie is good to send us pictures to keep us up to date. Patrick had his first taste of food today! From the looks of it, I'd say he had more fun playing with the avocado than eating it.

The latest toy I get to investigate, a chromebook. Our friends at CDW-G sent us two demos, that we get to test for 30 days. I was lucky to get this one first!

A brand new Aldi has opened in Wake Forest! This may not seem like a big deal to some of you, but I love to do my grocery shopping at Aldi. Yesterday was the open house, and I went at lunch time to get my free goodie bag. Today was the grand opening and I went after work to pick up a few things, and to use the 5 dollar coupon I got in the mail. Needless to say, it was packed.

I thought it might be time to give you an update on the hawk nest in our backyard. We believe she's definitely sitting on eggs. Donald can see the nest from his desk, and sometimes he can see her on the it, looking all around. This afternoon, we noticed she was moving around a little, so I tried to get a current photo. Unfortunately, all she showed me was her behind. In the meantime, while we were enjoying time on the deck after I got home, Donald saw what we believe was a bald eagle fly over our house. Life is certainly good around here.

Some days I struggle to come up with an idea for a photo. Today was one of those days. Then Donald reminded me about the beautiful azaleas blooming in the front yard. Can you believe I took this one with my iPhone?

I hate to admit this, but I'm super excited they're building a Sheetz in Louisburg. It's due to open next month, I think.

I was lucky to get to have lunch today with two of my three nephews. We ate at Blue Water along the Intracoastal Waterway. I enjoyed watching the birds as much as I enjoyed the water and the food! I decided this was one smart bird to know the best pickings were under the high chair.
