September 5. To celebrate my birthday, Donald and I went to downtown Raleigh and visited the Mordecai Plantation. One of the features is a garden that is period correct to the 1800s. This grapevine was in the back and it brought back all the memories I have of my grandmother Mary's house. She had a muscadine vine and we would go under and eat the muscadines straight off the vine. So delicious! I was tempted to eat these, but decided I better not.

When I got home from work, Donald and Thug were out walking. I sat in the driveway and waited on them. I'm not sure he had seen me at this point.

I found this mildly funny. For those of you that don't know, the device on the left is a high tech interactive cart. The device on the right is an old fashioned overhead projector. The document camera on the cart will do exactly what the overhead will do.
