My grandfather planted this pecan tree when my oldest sister was a toddler. Sadly, she ran over it with her tricycle, and we've never gotten any pecans off of it. I noticed the moon shining through it this afternoon and thought it would make a nice shot.

My grandmother on my father's side died when I was 10. I don't have many things that belonged to her, but somehow I wound up with these parfait glasses. Every time I see them, I think of her and smile.
