Thug's in control of the remote control again. I don't think he cares what we watch.

It was very hard to come up with an idea for today's picture. I thought about taking a picture of a thermometer because it's so hot. But then I checked Facebook and everyone is posting pictures of their thermometer. So I looked around and had this cookbook out on the counter. Aren't these the best? Tried and true recipes from church ladies.

Behold my afternoon angst. It's stuck, on the outside and it's after 5. After a slight panic, I remembered the custodian was still there. He couldn't get it out either and wound up taking the entire lock off to get it out. I need to make him some cookies.

You never know where you'll find one. :-) (Sorry for the blurriness. I was having a hard time holding the camera still.)

Yesterday, on the way home from Lexington, Kentucky, I stopped in Lexington, North Carolina to pick up this surf board for Charlie. Funny how you still do things for your nephews even after they're all grown up.

One last picture from my trip because it's back to reality and work tomorrow. James was showing my mother the picture from his graduating class and telling her a little about each of them.

Today was the day for sight seeing! We went to the Kentucky Horse Park, and were lucky enough to catch a show while we were there. This was the Hall of Champions and they showed some retired champion race horses. This is Go For Gin and was the winner of the 1994 Kentucky Derby. Apparently he is full of personality and put on quite the show for all of us. We all laughed when we saw this because it looks like the girl in the background is laughing just like the horse.
