First of all, let me apologize for the terribleness of this picture. I left very early for work this morning, and I was driving the sun was the brightest orange ball I've ever seen. The picture doesn't do it justice, but I wanted to share anyway.

The temperature got up to 98 today. That's pretty warm and I didn't let the dog sit in my lap when I went out on the deck. When I saw him looking like this, I wanted to sing, "Sad eyes, turn the other way."

I didn't realize there was a little bug on this tomato blossom until I zoomed in with the camera. It looks like a baby grasshopper.
