I meandered out to the back yard this afternoon and noticed the sage is blooming. What pretty purple blossoms.

Not the best picture I've ever taken, but I love it! I noticed while I was at work today that there seemed to be a lot of activity on the roof of the next building. So, I grabbed my camera, sat on the steps and waited. Just in the corner, there is a nest with baby birds. (I could hear them, but not see them.) I can only guess this is the mother bird. Something spooked just as she landed. Hope it wasn't me!

Our hibiscus lost all it's leaves over the winter. Donald was ready to get rid of it, but I didn't let him. Good thing, because there are new little leaves popping out all over!

I planted my garden in pots this year, with the hope that the deer will stay away. This is the first blossom, hopefully it will turn into a hot pepper!

There is nothing spectacular about this photo except that I took it a little after 8 tonight. I have felt like I've been in a rut taking pictures lately, they all seem to be the same where I play with the aperture setting. Tonight I decided to practice changing the shutter speed. So, this was taken using a 30 second exposure. I like how you can see the lights from the other houses through the trees.
