My sisters and I are planning a birthday party for our mother. She'll be 80 later this month, and has talked about wanting a party for a long time. My part is to buy paper products. The plates came today, all 240 of them.

I am 49 years old today. In all of those years, I have never had a birthday surprise. Until today, when this little guy greeted me at the door when i got home from work Suffice it to say, I was speechless.

I first told you about joining a CSA back on April 27. The excitement of getting a produce box every week has not waned over the summer one bit. As a matter of fact, I've gotten enough produce that I have been able to stock my freezer for the winter. I'm proud to show you the contents. Almost everything in here I have put up myself.
