Say hello to Mr. Squirrel. He was quite content with eating the seeds the birds dropped from the feeder. And yes, he's getting quite obese.

Yesterday you got to see our back door, in all it's grime and glory. Today, here is our front door. It is very rarely used, and presents a more formal entrance to our home. Such a different feel than the back door.

Every day I struggle to come up with an idea for the photo of the day. And every day I'm positive I overlook something that would be an awesome photo. Some of the things I often overlook are parts of our everyday life. Thus, I present the door from our garage into the house. We use this door more often than any other. All our family uses this door, as well as our closest friends. You can even see where the dog scratches the door when he wants to come inside. I guess you could say this door represents the portal into our most private lives.

I have been at a conference all day today. The best part is that I re-connected with a childhood friend! The last time I saw her she was a senior in high school and I was in college, and we hadn't seen each other for a while before that. The crazy thing is that our lives have had a strange parallel, both became teachers and we both now work in instructional technology! It does my soul good!

Donald is such a good sport. I wanted to practice taking some head shots that were similar to the ones that the photographer took at the wedding. He kept posing for me until I got one that I liked.
