Every single one of my pictures was rotten today. I just couldn't hold the camera steady enough, so they all came out blurry. This is the least blurry of them all. I really need to get a tripod.

Donald and I left Raleigh very early this morning, 6:45. I told him welcome to the world of being a Mills. As soon as we got to Wilmington, we went to Linda and Keith's house to drop off the dog, load the boat and head out. We spent a delightful morning sitting by the ocean. It felt great to get some salt water on my skin again. Here you have Donald, his sister Linda, and brother in law Keith.

I had just about given up on a bird feeder because of the squirrels. Donald found this shepherd's hook for us to try. It didn't take the birds long to find it. Unfortunately, it didn't take the squirrels long either. Did you know that a squirrel can climb a very thin pole?

Donald brought home some plants from his mother's house this past weekend. This poor mint plant looked pretty pitiful when it got here. Amazing what a little water will do for the soul, or in this case, for the plant.
